Contagious Love
You know how you meet some couples and can instantly feel how much they love each other? That was my experience with Noelani and Willie. The moment I met them I could feel how deep their love was, and the more we talked the more they inspired me with their stories of connection. They have a love that reminds me of young love, passionate and eager and pure and untamed. So during our evening of running around the north shore of Kauai I decided to photograph their love as just that, pure and untamed.
You see I am not in the business of artificial photography, where people are perfectly lit and posed and air brushed. I am much more inclined to share our natural forms, our natural faces of love and connection and peace in natural settings. Love is after all, on of our most natural emotions.
